Langkawi Again

Not sure this is the 'how many' times I went to Langkawi.. When I was young, will be celebrate my few days Chinese New Year there. Parents gotta visit their friend. This year my seniors jio-ed me again. This is my second time visited there with friend. The differences for this Langkawi trip is we gotta departed from Penang Jetty (Swettenham Pier), my first time yo (Normally departed from Kuala Kedah, which is nearer to Langkawi and CHEAPER). The to and fro ticket for Penang <-> Langkawi cost us RM122. It supposed to be a budget trip, but ended up I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I SPEND SO MUCH again trip.

A terrible ride as everyone vomited (including my friend wtf). After suffering for around 3Hours, finally we REACHED! Else I will be joining their vomiting choir.

After getting a car, quickly headed to our hotel near airport : One Hotel Helang. Damn the Waze bring us to sua pa.hahaa...In the end we still manage to make our way here. The hotel is not the best but definitely not the worst too. At this price, the hotel consider not too bad la, acceptable. 

Walk around in the street around Pantai Cenang and had our brunch in McD wtf...The world is so small. Spotted by a friend when I am walking. He is here too wtf.haha.. After lunch, headed to Laman Padi..Nothing much here as paddy field to me is nothing (my hometown full with this and I am a kampung kid running in paddy field).

Next, was Awana Porto Malai. Relaxing here.

Looking at those people departing for their sunset cruise. not joining as this is expensive (a budget trip ma, wth paying RM250 for a sunset?LOL..cheapskate student)

Doomy day. No sunset. and this is the famous spot in Langkawi, Pantai Cenang. All sort of water activities here.

Dinner at Orkid Ria, a place famous for tourist. You could hardly spot any locals here. For me, this is a place where they 'potong' tourist. But still, we are here :)

Night at Pantai Cenang. around 9pm.ei... why no one here? where is the night life? Am I at the wrong place? Get my own beer and enjoy myself.

Back to hotel and minum sendiri at the pool la..

 DAY 2

Telaga Harbour - Lunch - Oriental Village for Cable Car and Bolaven Café for tiger.

Nerve wracking ride. I just dislike and like all the cable car ride.lolol

le famous SkyBridge: CLOSED..Phew...went there last time..it's fun but not for me.

Kota Mahsuri (Makam Mahsuri/ Mahsuri Tomb). There is a legend behind this Princess Mahsuri. How she was being accused of adultery by the mother in law, sentenced her to death by stabbing, and how she had cursed the island with 7 generations of bad luck. Not to forget about the white blood flowed out proving her innocence. You can find more about the Legendary Mahsuri.
